{ Laurie's Wedding Cupcakes }

I actually made these on August 10, 2012.  One of my dear, sweet co-workers in our Appleton, WI office was getting married the following week.  We decided to celebrate across all three of our national sites in her honor.  I made these for our office.  I went with pastel pink since I knew it was one of her wedding colors.  We definitely enjoyed them on her behalf!

{ Kasie's Baby Shower }

I made some cupcakes for Kasie's baby shower today.  They were white cupcakes with purple, pink, and yellow vanilla buttercream frosting.  I even filled them with frosting too.  Yum!

{ Rachel's Baby Shower }

Rachel's baby shower was a success!  Her wonderful friend and co-worker did an amazing job as a hostess and I think the cupcakes turned out pretty well.  The centerpiece was a giant white cupcake with buttercream frosting.  The rest were white cupcakes with buttercream frosting, but they looked like baby rattles.  So cute and easy to make!

{ A Thank You }

A big "thank you" for the Elders Quorum who organized the first annual Havana Ward Sister Appreciation dinner.  We're going to give them to the guys tomorrow at the end of church just before break the fast!

{ My New Toy }

I got this as a Christmas present.  (Thanks Orrin!)  It's a giant cupcake mold.  This is going to make the cutest birthday cakes.  I can't wait to play with it! 

{ The Search Is On }

Tonight I made my very first batch of cupcakes!  I think they turned out okay but I will definitely need more practice with the frosting.  And now, the search is on for the most PERFECT buttercream frosting recipe!  I think this one was a little too soft.  I even used minimal amounts of milk.  But they sure tasted great.
